Heraeus UV light sources emit two wavelengths that work for cleaning air: At 254 nm, UVC radiation has an intensive bactericidal effect, there is no need for chemical additives. Pathogens, like bacteria, viruses, parasites, spores, mould and dust mites are destroyed.
185 nm UV radiation generates ozone from the oxygen in the ambient air which is used for the oxidation of air impurities.
Variations in the type and the degree of contamination and the air temperature mean
that a custom solution is usually required for cleaning air. Heraeus provides the optimum lamp for your application.
