BlueLight UV disinfection Modules have been specially developed for the food industry. The equipment achieves an inactivation in germ rate of more than 99.9%. Modules are installed in filling equipment for milk products and drinks, for the disinfection of conveyor belts, transport containers and working surfaces or for the surface disinfection of foodstuffs.
The packaging materials achieve a degree of purity that complies with the classification "Packaging materials with low germ content". Due to the breakage detector, the modules can be safely run above the production line.
Heraeus offers loan modules to the user for on-site tests.
BlueLight Disinfection Modules are ready-to-use build-in systems consisting of:
- One or more UV cassettes, window size: length 365 mm-1315 mm x width of 107 mm - 370 mm at an electrical power of 140 W-1000 W
- Goldspot UV lamp
- Forced air cooling using ambient air
- Power supply 50/60Hz, 230 V +15%
- Quartz glass panes equipped with a breakage detector
- CE-certification
- International Protection Class IP 55
