Surface modification
Excimer emitters offer properties that are ideal for many surface modification processes. Their close-to-monochromatic spectrum and the possibility to select specific wavelengths allow photo-processes to be carried out in a very focused manner. In addition there is no unwanted heating effect, as excimer UV emitters produce no infrared radiation in their spectrum.
