Premium UV-modules from Heraeus have been developed especially for the packaging materials industry. A new lamp technology achieves high intensities and a significant long life.
Low service expenditure, economic advantages and easy installation and operation make the Premium modules efficient disinfection modules. Thanks to the breakage detector, the modules can be operated safely in the production line.
Although the UV cassettes generate a high irradiance, the UV radiation is cold. Therefore, the packaging material is not heated. Thus, the disinfection method is excellently suited primarily for heat-sensitive materials.
Due to its geometry, the module is in particular used for in-line machines with 4 to 12 rows of cups.
The complete Premium module is standardly available in 3 sizes and consists of the UV disinfection cassette with the UV lamps, the media box including power supply and ventilation and two air hoses.
