Tungsten Halogen Lamps

Tungsten Halogen Lamps
Tungsten halogen (TH) lamps are used individually or together with a deuterium lamp to enhance the spectral emission for analytical instrumentation in the visible range. Power outputs range from 5 W to 200 W with lifetimes ranging from 50 hrs to 2000 hrs being possible dependent on operating conditions.

Heraeus Tungsten halogen lamps are designed and manufactured especially for the use in analytical instrumentation and not for general lighting. The following features distinguish them from many other TH lamps on the market:
  • usage of quartz that allows transmission also below 380 nm
  • carefully controlled position of filament for more precise light output
  • pre-aligned versions available for commercial instruments

Contact the Heraeus engineers for more information on tungsten halogen lamps specially made for analytical instruments.
