Wood is treated with a wide range of different coatings. Base coatings, varnishes or powder coatings need to be dried as quickly as possible, whilst ensuring that there is no damage to the wood.

Infrared heat dries much faster than conventional methods. Radiation which is precisely matched to the characteristics of the coating is rapidly converted into heat. Coated material and the immediate surroundings remain cool.
Thus better quality is achieved and the boards are ready for further processing much more quickly.

Application examples:
 

	Coating of water based adhesives on wooden veneer
	Gelling and curing of powder lacquer on MDF panels
	Drying of water based stain on wooden materials
