Application centre Infrared Heat
Understanding the different applications is key to enabling the efficient use of IR heat and UV light. Therefore, Heraeus Noblelight has set up application centres to share experience with its customers and gain new knowledge through trials.
Application centres help to answer the following questions in a practice-oriented manner:
- Can I optimise my process with infrared radiation or UV light?
- How does the material I use behave?
- Which emitters are best suited for my process?
- How do they have to be dimensioned?
- How can they be integrated into my production process?
Each application centre is equipped with different infrared modules and the necessary technical equipment to enable it to test materials practically.
Technically experienced staff on site carry out the tests. Our customers may bring their own materials and use a database that contains test results. 2,500 documented applications may serve as a first point of reference for dimensioning and layout. Likewise, IR test modules are available for tests directly on site at the customer's plant.
