Innovative application with infrared emitters
Infrared emitters transmit energy with high power, quickly and without contact. This optimises many thermal processes, and some advanced applications are impracticable without IR heat. Contactless heating minimises the risk of contamination. Process fluids or high-purity water may also be heated with direct contact as infrared emitters made of high-purity quartz are insensitive to acids, alkaline solutions and many other corroding agents.

Application examples:
  • QRC infrared emitters with nano-reflector are ideal for photovoltaics, semiconductor fabrication and chemical processes.
  • Fast-switching infrared emitters enable innovative methods for the construction of pipeline tubes.
  • Anti-icing systems in modern gas-fired power stations are complemented by flexibly reacting infrared emitters.
